Jamie M. Graham, a native of Lowndes County Alabama, has always been considered a distinguished gentleman.  A former student of Central High and a graduate of Alabama State University, Jamie has always had a flair for the unusual.  Thus enters his interest in Chicago Style Stepping.  A basic six-count or eight-count movement between two partners that shows pure grace and finesse in dancing.   As Chicago Style Stepping begins to make its move toward the South, Jamie would find himself in the middle of conversations regarding Stepping which inspired him to explore the dances’ concept and its origin.  The foundation of the dance and how this movement of dance can still be as vibrant today as it was in its beginning. Not many people in the young adult sector or in the hip-hop environment truly embrace the history of Stepping and the grace that the dance exemplifies. Jamie is an exception. His desire to learn and shelter the dance led Jamie to attend many sessions with experienced steppers, resting peacefully with a group in Huntsville, AL.
